Marian Liturgy Service

For many weeks, as the spiritual leaders of our primary school communities, we have not been able to visit our schools and celebrate liturgy with our communities.  Our liturgical life has been somewhat curtailed due to the COVID-19 restrictions.

In order to bring our children and school communities together in prayer, and to ask for the intercession of Mary, Mother of the Church and Patroness of Australia, the three schools of Our Lady of Good Counsel, Deepdene, Our Lady’s, Wattle Park and Our Holy Redeemer, Surrey Hills, have come together to create a virtual prayer service.

This prayer service is now available for our communities.   Teachers and students might use it to pray together as a class or as a school.  Our parish communities will be able to use it to pray together with our school communities.

Families might use this resource to pray together for the world and in particular, for our local schools and families at this critical time that through the intercession of Our Lady, our God may protect us and lead us to a better and healed world, freed from the global pandemic, where we can live together in peace and goodwill.
