Our Great Fete!

Last Saturday, 15 October Our Lady’s Primary School celebrated our School Fete.  After missing this special event for two years we were so delighted to be back!

It was such a wonderful event for our community, as we were so excited to be together, creating a fantastic neighborhood event.

Our parent community were amazing working together tirelessly for months!  The support from the Parish was much appreciated as volunteers from across the parishes volunteered at Maria’s Cafe selling scones, tea and cake.

The ‘vibe’ on the day was palpable, as parents, students and staff worked together to create a wonderful experience for all who attended, and raised money for the school at the same time!

We are very grateful for our amazing PFA and parent community.  There were rides, cakes, animals and wonderful performances from OLPS children’s choir and skipping group.

Our inquiry learning this term is “What makes a healthy community?” and this was a wonderful experience about how when a community works together, great and beautiful things can happen.  We were also very grateful for the wonderful weather!  A terrific day was had by all!
