Helen Mary was a past pupil of Genazzano FCJ College.  She entered the FCJ Society in February 1953 and made her first vows in 1955.

Helen Mary taught at Genazzano FCJ College, Vaucluse College FCJ in Richmond and FCJ College Benalla.  She spent several years in Broom WA where she first encountered the First Nations People.  This time in Broome had a profound effect on her and she spent the rest of her life as an untiring advocate for the First Nations People.

She was a prolific knitter who was rarely seen without her wool and needles!  Helen Mary was also an accomplished musician playing both the piano and organ.  She taught piano at Genazzano and was the organist at St Ignatius Church, Richmond.

Helen Mary was a gentle, kind woman who will be missed by all her knew and loved her, especially by her Sisters, Faithful Companions of Jesus.

May she rest in peace.
