Each year our Parishes offer an invitation to children attending non-Catholic primary schools to attend the after-school Parish Sacramental Program for the Sacraments of Reconciliation, First Eucharist and Confirmation.

For the last few years children in Year 3 have celebrated Reconciliation in Term 1, to coincide with the season of Lent, a penitential season that prepares us for Easter.  Feedback and reflection over the last few years has indicated that many children would benefit in their cognitive, personal and moral development by delaying Reconciliation to the start of Year 4.

Commencing in 2024, the preparation and celebration of Reconciliation will be celebrated by children in Year 4.

The following dates have been set for the Sacraments in 2024:

Parish Catechist Classes

• Tuesday – 4.15 pm to 5.15 pm from 20 February to 12 March 2024 (four classes)

Registration is now open and will close on Wednesday, 14 February.
