What an amazing display of colour and commitment the students attending Our Holy Redeemer Primary School have shown.

The conclusion of Term 3 was celebrated in style with all students dressing up in their footy gear and partaking in a range of footy activities that were organised and run by the senior students of the school.  One of these activities was The Walk for Tiwi raising over $640 which will go towards the restoration of St Therese’s Catholic Church on Bathurst Island, a part of the Tiwi Islands.

Then most recently the school was a rainbow of crazy socks!  The school held its annual Socktober Day for Catholic Mission.  All students participated in prayer services with their Buddy Class around the theme of “mission”.  The students learnt that we all engage in mission when we proclaim our faith through our words, actions and lives.  The school’s RE Student Leaders helped to organise this day.

The students raised $180 for Catholic Mission through gold coin donations and had tremendous fun making sockballs with their buddies.

We are grateful to our school families who have assisted with this year’s Working Bees.  Their dedication and commitment ensures that our school remains tidy, welcoming and a safe place for all.
